Ministries at Harvester

Harvester's Children's programs provide fun, safe, faith-building opportunities.

The Children's Ministry Team oversees planning, implementation and reflection for Children’s Worship Hour instruction as well as special events and programs for children from birth through grade 5.

This ministry allows our youth to grow closer To God and each other through Faith, Fellowship, and Fun!

The Youth Program builds a sense of community within the youth of the church and provides an opportunity for both spiritual and social development.

The Music & Worship Ministry provides opportunities to get involved in the ministry of the church through instrumental and vocal musical performance.

Our established groups are always looking for new ministry members to help us sing and play God's praises!

Congregational Care

The congregational care team is a group of loving and dedicated fellow members who reach out to others in the congregation when there is a need such as an illness or death.

Evangelism & Outreach

Harvester's Evangelism & Outreach ministry offers a variety of ongoing and seasonal opportunities to serve those in need in our local community and beyond.

Prayer Ministry

Prayer is absolutely essential to the life of any believer and any church.  Therefore, our prayer ministry begins by encouraging everyone at Harvester to be a person of prayer.

Worship Support

Harvester's Ushers/Greeters are a significant part of  the church hospitality system and fulfill specific duties to accomplish that role.

Hospitality / Special Events

The Hospitality Committee prayerfully plans and hosts special events that will bring people together for the sole purpose of experiencing the gift of God’s love and becoming connected to a worshiping congregation.

Events include coffee and refreshments on Sunday morning, 5th Sunday pot lucks and other times of celebration.

Tech Team

The Tech Team is primarily concerned with sound at our worship services.

Each Sunday requires a person at the 9:00 Traditional Service and a person at the 11:00 Contemporary Service.

Presentation Team

The Presentation Team primarily utilizes "Proclaim" software for overall services, plus "PowerPoint" for the pastor's sermon.

At a base level, this involves just changing the slides at the correct times in the service. More experienced team members will understand how to create and manipulate items in "Proclaim"

Each Sunday requires a person at the 9:00 Traditional Service and a person at the 11:00 Contemporary Service.

Lighting Team

The Lighting Team  is a new and expanding ministry at Harvester. Currently our lighting is static, and is set at the beginning of each service.

But Harvester is embarking on a new course in which lighting is an ever changing part of the Worship . Experience.

If you have experience (or just an interest), this is a great place to get plugged in at Harvester.

Worship Committee

The Worship Planning Committee at Harvester oversees  the logistics of what you see, hear and experience during Sunday services and special occasion services.

Several other committees work in conjunction with the Worship Committee to serve on Sunday mornings and provide an overall pleasant experience

Creative Committee

The Creative Committee  at Harvester oversees  the content of what you see, hear and experience during Sunday services and special occasion services.
