Christian Social Services

CSS is a specialized ministry of local churches which offers food, clothing, supportive services and Christian hospitality in the name of Jesus Christ in central Pasco and north Hillsborough counties.

In the winter of 1985, pastors and lay people from Lutz and Land O' Lakes churches followed God's leading and worked together to establish an organization that would provide food, clothing and related services for disadvantaged men, women and children in our local area, Christian Social Services (CSS) opened its doors in August 1987, and serves families and individuals in central Pasco and northern Hillsborough counties

Lots of fun and fellowship with other Harvester friends.  Join us at Christian Social Services on the last Saturday of each month from 10am to 12pm.  

This is a great opportunity for parents to come with their kids especially to earn community service hours for school.

Cancer patients and/or family members are welcome to attend the cancer support group at First UMC of Land O Lakes the 1st & 3rd Monday of each month at 6:30 pm.

Although a new incarnation, Lutz/Land O Lakes American Legion Post 108 is actually anything but new!  A group of WW1 Veterans got together in the mid-1930's and decided this area needed an American Legion Post. The most recent Legion Hall was damaged by a storm several years ago. That,  plus the widening of U.S. 41, made us look alternate locations and we have landed at Harvester.  But it has not slowed us down!

We meet the 2nd Saturday of each month at 9:00 AM.. It would be a privilege and an honor to welcome new members. Currently, Bill Garrison is the Immediate Past Commander for Post 108 and looks forward to meeting all of you.
